Co-Stars Paul Newman And Elizabeth Taylor!

If this isn't the most darling vintage photo opt I've come across as of late. It's the legendary Elizabeth Taylor and Paul Newman, who were co-star mates in the 1958 film, "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof".

For just a moment, lets forget about the memorable performances both actors transcended across the silver screen, but lets take a look at the stellar sense of style both Newman and Taylor strutted in the image above. His deep open V-neck and jeans , along with Taylor's chic (not to mention her pup in-hand) 1950's blouse with ankle length trousers and bag look simply impeccable!

A nicely tailored plaid shirt can sometimes go a long way kiddas. Just make sure you don't have 20 of the same looking plaid shirts in you drawers. Paul Newman was shot in this pictorial back in the 1960s with a superbly rolled up plaid shirt and a nifty wrist watch to go with it. A perfect look in the Spring or Summer for any daytime occasion or event.

My sweets, what are your plans for the weekend? Alex's mom is visiting from California. The last time she was here, Toby was miniature and couldn't smile or make eye contact. Now he's fat and can roll, laugh, and hug his favorite octopus. I can't wait for her to see! Also, Alex's birthday's coming up (a hem, it's a big one), so we're going here for dinner. (Pumpkin bisque, I'm looking at you.)
